It is important that you train any muscle group no more than every other day.
If you are looking to build big biceps, you need to be sure and train to absolute positive concentric failure (where you can't do any more good reps without cheating).
- Use enough weight to hit failure by the 8-12th repetition.
- Do 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps then move on to the next exercise.
- Use some helpful steroids, like Drostanalone, Boldenone etc.
I also like to super-set biceps and triceps together to pump more blood into them. I just took a cheesy picture of my bicep before working out. I'll try to take another one after the workout so you can see how much bigger it gets...
Take a rest for at least the next day before training biceps again. You only grow while you're resting/healing, not when you're tearing the muscle tissue down.
Are you sure it was your biceps that grew, not your triceps?
Your triceps make up about 60% of your upper arm, and triceps are what moves your arm when doing any type of extension (such as punching).
Biceps aid the back in doing pulling movements, as well as contracting the arm towards the body. They also assist in turning (pronation or supination of the palm).
Building bigger triceps do make your arms look much larger though!
If you're looking to build larger biceps, you need to work bot the long and the short heads to make them not only thicker but also taller.
